In the first few years the internet was not as popular as it is today so we (my wife and I) spent almost all of our free time setting up booths at fairs, craft shows, bazzaars and anywhere else we could get into including major retail stores. It was a LOT of hard work but we LOVED it. We met a lot of great people along the way and the faces of the children seeing their name in a story book made it all worth it.
Around 1997 the internet was getting to be a normal place to shop so I created a website. It was VERY un-user-friendly as all orders were done via email. Then around 1999 we started taking Credit Card payments online and the site has gradually changed into what you see today. The internet now accounts for over 90% of the orders.
